Music Monday: The Lumineers

This Wednesday, the folk pop sounds of The Lumineers hits The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Similar to bands such as The Avett Brothers, Fleet Foxes and Ray LaMontagne, the band began in 2002 with best friends Jeremiah Fraites and Wesley Schultz in New York City. The pair moved to Denver and found Neyla Pekarek after placing a Craigslist ad for a cellist and with that, The Lumineers was born.

The band was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Americana Album at the 2013 Grammy Awards. The single "Ho Hey" sold over 2 million copies by December of 2012 and spent time on US, Canadian and UK Alternative charts.

Tickets are still available to the concert on April 24. Get your tickets now!
