10 Things You Didn't Know You Could Find on the CWMP Website

In case you—like so many others—haven’t taken the time to explore the pages of information provided on The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion official website (, here are a few tips to make navigating the site easier and more efficient.

1. Clicking the GUEST INFO tab just under the title of the home screen brings you to this page containing answers to the questions frequently asked by many of our guests. Scroll through it to find information about anything from maps and rules to the lost and found and purchasing a gift certificate. This page is especially useful for guests with special circumstances or those unfamiliar with The Pavilion.

2. The EDUCATION tab contains information about the many educational fine arts programs supported by The Pavilion within the community. The Pavilion’s educational outreach events directly fulfill a large part of The Pavilion’s mission statement: “To serve as a catalyst for new audiences by enhancing the public’s knowledge of and appreciation for the performing and visual arts,” and “To serve as a resource for enhancing education about the performing and visual arts for young people and providing training and performance opportunities for young artists.” Look around the page to find more information about upcoming educational events and how you can get involved. You may discover a side of The Pavilion you hadn’t previously known was there.

3. For updates on anything and everything going on at The Pavilion, click the MEDIA CENTER tab or direct your attention to the upper right hand side of any page where our mailing list and social media sites are featured. In this tab, you can choose to browse through recent press releases, photos, etc. from The Pavilion. In addition, contact information for media professionals from both Live Nation and The Pavilion is listed at the bottom of the page. By clicking any of the icons at the top of the page or the “Social Media Updates” button just above the MEDIA CENTER tab, you can follow or “like” our social media pages for more frequent updates. Or join the mailing list to send information straight to your inbox.

4. Use the ABOUT tab to read the history of The Pavilion. This page holds information about everything from board members to the sculptures erected in honor of George and Cynthia Woods Mitchell. Read through the mission statement of The Center for Performing Arts at The Woodlands and explore how this nonprofit organization is upholding it by “provid[ing] a diversity of the very best in the performing and visual arts in order to entertain and enrich the lives of a broad regional audience.”

5. The VOLUNTEER tab is useful when looking for ways to get involved with The Pavilion, financially or otherwise. Interested in becoming an usher for fine arts performances? Want to donate funds toward a specific event? Looking to apply for one of the scholarships awarded by The Pavilion Partners? Any questions you have about philanthropic involvement with The Pavilion will be answered within the pages under this tab. You can even become a Pavilion Partner! Relevant contact information is listed in the sub-headers beneath the tab bar at the top of the page.

6. Nearly every page on the website features this SPONSORS column on the right hand side of the page. Here you can click on any of The Pavilion’s 2015 performing arts season sponsors and Live Nation 2015 venue sponsors and explore their own websites. Our sponsors give generously in support of an intregal part of The Pavilion’s mission statement: “To provide programs and activities while at the same time being certain to maintain the fiscal integrity of the organization.”

Without Live Nation’s sponsorship of The Pavilion, we would not be able to maintain the busy concert schedule that we are fortunate enough to house each season. Browse their website for more information about their benefactors and other venues they sponsor.

Further information about sponsorship can be found under the SUPPORT THE ARTS tab across the top of the webpage.

7. Did you know you could RENT OUR FACILITY? Click the small gray tab above the main tab bar to select between the Woodforest Bank Club and the House of Blues Hospitality Tent for your next event! The page includes a map of the facilities and a contact number for each venue’s rental information. The venues can be rented on days of performances and after the season has ended, and they both feature a live feed on their TVs so your guests can avoid temperamental Texas weather while still attending the performance.

8. If you’re interested in purchasing season or box seat tickets for the year, click on the VIP tab in the top tab bar. The many details and perks of becoming a season ticket holder and/or a box seat holder at The Pavilion are listed here for your convenience. Before reserving your VIP tickets, you can browse the seating chart and box seating map to find the best seats in the house.

This page also allows viewers to download the Season Seat Brochure, detailing what seats are still available and why each seat is valued as VIP.

9. Looking for EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES? The Pavilion regularly updates this page with any and all available positions within the facility for the performance season. Whether you are seeking full-time or part-time employment, you will find your options here. Click the small gray tab with the same title above the main tab bar on your screen to see this page. You can even apply for any of the open positions directly from this webpage by clicking the “Apply Here” tab beneath the job listings, and discover how you can help “foster and create opportunities for the presentation of new and innovative work in the performing and visual arts” at The Pavilion.

10. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion website is full of information about everything that happens at The Pavilion. If you are still unable to find answers to whatever further questions you may have, click the gray SITE MAP tab above the main tab bar and navigate through the alphabetical list of the site’s contents. And, in the case that your question requires the attention of a Pavilion staff member, you can always feel free to fill out the contact form under the gray CONTACT US tab.
